One-Piece vs Jointed Dance Poles

A jointed pole breaks into sections so it ships cheap and stores in a closet. That’s X-Pole and Lupit. A Lil Mynx is one solid piece, cut to your ceiling. No joint in the grip, less flex, and it takes down without unscrewing a stack of tubes.

Joints are fine if you move the pole every week. They’re also where cheap poles fail, and even good ones have a seam you can feel. One-piece is what studios use when the pole stays in one room and you actually train on it.

Lil Mynx has made one-piece removable poles for over 20 years. The Original is static. The Rotator is static and spinning, push-button in the base. Both come in 45mm or 50mm, stainless, black, or pink, in 8–9 ft, 9–10 ft, or a custom cut. For home and studio. Hardwood needs the $20 floor pad.

You do need somewhere to store a full-length pole. You also measure once, because it isn’t a telescope with extra extensions. If your ceiling is vaulted, use the vaulted mount instead of forcing a level-ceiling kit.

Shop the Rotator or the Original. Measure floor to ceiling in the exact spot, then pick the size that matches.
